Polly Hedge was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio but raised in Texas from a young age.  She served as an enlisted Soldier in the United States Army from 2007-2017 in the occupational field of behavioral health.  Polly is a representational artist who specializes primarily in painting.  Drawing from her military experience and personal belief system, she creates narratives that challenge the viewer to explore deeper meaning beyond the worldview of our modern age.  She is in the process of completing her Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, but she lives and works in Cibolo, Texas.  Polly is currently working on a body of work that is about extracting meaning from scriptures centered upon identity and authority within the biblical context.
